Our society can adjudicate a resolution to criminal activity and when it does so we can claim justice has been served.

I can imagine no practical form of justice that would better serve the situation you described than capital punishment. I am, however, interested in reviewing alternatives if anyone has a suggestion.

Leave aside error? No case is error free. Consider the case of OJ Simpson. Any errors there? And this was a case the received 24-7 reporting and news coverage.

A crime of that nature should receive a sentence of life without parole in austere confinement.

Killing the bastard will never bring back the lives of the the children, so why do you need to see him die?
