"Rumsfeld expounded at length on the Sunday morning talk
shows on the subject. My paraphrase was very close to what
he said at that time."

Rumsfeld was not on Meet the Press on Sunday.
Rumsfeld was not on Face the Nation on Sunday.

Which talk shows did 'Rumsfeld expound at length' in a
manner that you or any reasonable person would concluded
that Rumsfeld said 'Absense of evidence is proof'....
regarding WMD's in Iraq??

I'd like to see if Rumsfeld, in his own words, said this as
it could seriously affect my POV about him.

TIA

"But, as we all know," he <Rumsfeld> added, "the absence of
evidence is not evidence of absence."

In his <Rumsfeld's> words: "The absence of evidence is not
evidence of absence."
