That is absurd, and I'm disappointed in you for even making that remark. How can you attribute it to the White House? I think you're really very bright, but a little weak in the political realm.

Would you like Laura Bush to sing us all a lullaby and put us to sleep? Should we just ignore the threat of terrorism until the next event? Or, maybe send a contingent of Democrat Congressmen and NYT editors to negotiate face-to-face with bin Laden?

I didn't see Cli'ton nip this problem in the bud -- he just played down the terrorist bombings that occurred on his watch, mostly on foreign soil or against U.S. military personnel, which he "disdains," so as to not distract everybody from the internet bubble and false sense of prosperity.
