I am getting spontaneous reboots every day or 2 on a machine I built several months ago. It's only recently started, there haven't been any error messages of any kind and I've not noticed any other problems. Often I'm just sitting there reading something when it happens. Is there any way to identify what's going on when this happens? Thanks.

Dave

Bruce:

I'm having problems installing multiple monitors. My system is an Acer system purchased in 2001 with Windows 2000 Pro. I got a Dual PCI Predator by Colorgraphic Com. Corp.

After I plugged in the dual monitor card and monitors, system boot stuck at window boot. It could not go through. Then I used CTrl Alt & Esc key to get into system setting. I did not find ADP/PCI switch. Only setting seemed to have anything to do with what I'm doing is under Boot Option in which I changed Primary Display from AUTO to ONBOARD. After this change, system was able to boot up. But the system did not recognize the additional monitors (2 more, total 3 monitors).
Any help is appreciated.

George
