Couldn't I just turn off the other computer (the one that already had ZA on it)? If that was turned off, then it probably wouldn't be picking up on the ZA, right? If not, when you say disconnect from my dsl connection, would that mean just pulling the plug that connects the computer to the router?

I still haven't had the chance to try what you suggested because I had no idea it involved this - I thought I would just install it the same way I did on the first computer. My kids were using the other one last night so I couldn't get to it but I did try my way (shutting down the other computer) and had her try to install it then - DIDN'T WORK! I will have to go your route and do it the right way when I get the chance! This is the part I wasn't quite clear on:

you will then have to put the IP of each computer in your network into the za trusted zone. it'll be the numbers like 192.168.1.100 and 192.168.1.101

Is there some kind of a settings section of ZA that I do that in?
