John Kerry...Bill Clinton...many many others thought that Iraq was a hotbed of terrorist and/or terror sponsors. It only changed when President Bush stepped up to the plate and did something about it.

Remember the terrorist name that was found dead in an Iraqi hotel some number of months ago? I don't remember his name, but no one said much about him. Why was he in Iraq? What was he doing. We may never know the truth, but my bet is that one of our people killed him.

Hotbed? With what the whole world knew about Saddam's weapons programs, how much hotter did it need to be? And look at the staging ground now. What better way to stage a war on terror than the middle east? If we are not going to fight the war on terror...ok...bring all the troops home and be prepared to build 50 ft fences all around the USA and clamp it down. If we are going to be a global community, IMO, then the war had to happen...sooner or later.
