Cut services and spending and then cut taxes. But to borrow money and hand it out like big sticks of candy to the super-rich -- that is simply a recipe for disaster for the US. although it helps Bush to keep his campaign contributions flowing in from same. The interests of the United States should not take a back seat to the personal interests of George Bush.

Just remember that in government as in everything else you get what you pay for. These days no one wants to pay too much so we end up with crappy government. The morale of our troops and our nation is being sapped by cheap gov so how well do you expect us to hold up under assaults. Guarantee you our armed forces aren't finding all the volunteers they need. But thats ok starve the government let it all fall apart. Is that what you really want?
