Not to get involved in another sordid message board owner control squabble but you said you had proof that mmmary (I assume) was posting under the deleted account. Then you act as if IP's, cookies and logs are proof of this?

Personally, I don't know who posted the posts and I don't care but couldn't the posts have been made from mmmary's computer but have been made by someone else, possibly even the valid account owner? Would not this leave the same trails in the logs as if mmmary had made the posts herself?

If so, that's not proof, merely evidence. Big difference.

I'm still trying to figure out why you and Matt are on a crusade to try to eliminate anyone who points out the downside of a particular stock and who try to help others identify potential problems with their investments? Do you still have connections to stock promoters whose interests are in direct opposition to the small investor looking for a decent return?

The plug was yanked on me at Ihub under the guise of a TOU violation (personal attack) even though it was obvious there was no attacking going on. I posted the offending post on the SI vs. Ihub board for anyone to see the charges brought against me wouldn't even hold up in a kangaroo court.

On the other hand, those bullish on the stock can do blatant personal attacks, often with no consequences whatsoever. I posted proof of that right here:

Anybody willing to read my previous posts can see that I have a long history of contributing reasonable perspectives that remain on topic and do so in a pleasant manner without attacking those I disagree with. I admit my posts about IDCC are generally bearish but that is what I really believe. Those who are overly optimistic are not kicked off for being too positive. Here is a link to my post history:

investorshub.com

I consider it fraud that the service I paid $129 for was yanked even though I followed the written Terms of Use Agreement. I know that "fraud" is a pretty strong term but that's exactly what someone is engaged in when they take someone's money for a service and then refuse to provide that service even though all terms of use were followed.

Bob, I think message boards should have, aside from a Terms of Use, something called a Consequences of Use. For example:

Warning: Message boards are not for the faint of heart. If you are easily insulted by those with opinions differing from yours, or by people with no manners, think twice before posting here. If you are extremely bullish or bearish on a stock, expect to be mercilessly attacked by those who feel the opposite of you. Even if you fancy yourself to be the voice of wisdom, do not be surprised if you find yourself fodder for the amusement of others. And when you do get the virtual snot kicked out of you, don't come crying to the site admins that you want this or that post deleted, or this or that person's account terminated. We warned you of the risks, you took your chances, now live with the consequences.
