Yes, I am full agreement with you on Rumsfield. I have even written a letter to President Bush asking him to get rid of the bast*ard. He is the first brilliant Secretary of Defense since McNamara and of course everyone knows what McNamara did for our country.

"I think people in the military have a right to be upset with their Secretary of Defense who repeatedly goes against the advice and experience of his top generals. "

I call that an idiot identification event cue.

Clark was a recent vintage top general. On Iraq his analysis was idiotic. The War in Afghanistan and Iraq were executed stunning victories.

In the military there are as many opinions as there are generals. LOL you think there are not differences of opinion.

And after 8 years of generals rising in some cases by kissing mr. bill's ass, I suspect several genuine idiots are now generals. We know clark is by his analysis of the War in Iraq.

I've not see a decision by the Secretary of Defense that I would call poor judgement based upon the reality known at the time. I see you have not given any examples.
