Al, No...the democrats delivered 8 years of peace and prosperity. What Democrat policies directly led to this peace and prosperity? Most economists would agree that Clinton rode the wave of prosperity, but didn't create it. Luckily for him, he hopped off just as the wave crashed. Why can't you and every other whining republican get it through your head...HE is not the focus...his policies are. Please read my words again: "They [the Democrats] fill that void by focusing on the negatives of Bush's policies." Tenchusatsu

No...the democrats delivered 8 years of peace and prosperity. I would say that results talk and bs walks. If you're going to throw that kind of credit around, you have to give some to the Reps too...after all, we controlled congress. It's completely a stretch to give that credit however. While we where enjoying our market bubble, NK was secretly developing nukes and the terrorists were building strength. Clinton's term ended on a note of what was to come, the bombing of the USS Cole which he did nothing about afterward. The terrorists were getting more aggressive even then, and George W Bush's policies obviously had nothing to do with it. Brian
