I'd be the LAST person to oppose a right of dissent.

But you have a number of times. I understand. It's easier than to carry out a more reasoned argument.

However, that right is subservient to the higher interests of the country. When liberals' dissents become harmful to the interest of the country, I do have a problem with it.

That's an extremely dangerous tenet..not without grave historical perspective.

If, for any reason, we should pull out of Iraq now, it would spell disaster for our nation as well as Iraq.

The idea #1 is to not have gone in the first place. The idea #2 is to remove those who did, so they don't do this sort of thing again. Idea #2 is far more important than #1 right now.

DR,

re: Anyone who, at this time, does NOT support that war, is a traitor.

Strong words, accusing folks of a felony.

What's the death count of Iraqi civilians?
What's the death count of coalition forces?
What's the death count of Iraqi enlisted soldiers (probably normal kids, trying to make a living in a tough country, certainly not "terrorists")?

Where are those specific numbers?

What specifically has been accomplished?
