A Republican Pioneer fundraiser ventured out to explain the new GOP fund raising policy to a wealthy pidgeon. "You can't lose", he explains, "You give a bunch of money for your local race and we will kick back plenty your way after the election to make up for it".

"It sounds good", said the potential benefactor, "but what if my local candidate loses?".

"Don't worry you're covered, The state GOP will guarentee enough contracts for you to make a tidy profit".

"I'd like my share of that loot, but with all the mistakes lately the GOP could lose control of the state government".

"Not a problem!", cooed the party money man, "Every bit of patronage is personally vouched by the Bush/Cheney committee itself".

"But,,But what if they lose?"

"Then you lose your money!, but it would be worth it, wouldn't it?"
