If we hold the lows 1890 tomorrow we might be purchasing the usual suspects.:-0

NTE maybe: price staying put vol rising. looking at a 3 month chart
I want to sell PETM, however that has cause some heated debates in this house. We are still working the details out on that one

IMO we have reached a level thats not going in any particular direction. Half of the old tech bubble was probably caused by rich brokers themselves buying those techs. Now their cheating is being stopped, and they will have less income to drive stocks up.
Money set aside in CD's or bonds is going mostly to company bonds or preferred stocks rather than coming back to equities
Big techs are being manipulated to profit from options.
Today being an example where stocks have been dropped to the point where they will go thru Fridays option expiration at the "proper" level- for those who sold covered calls, for example.
IMO its just business as usual, have to play a few selective issues without counting on market action for support.
