Wasn't if Aquinas who said, "let me be chaste, but not yet!"

It's the kind of issue that time will solve. But not in the near future.

I agree, but think they have overreached in going straight for "marriage". They should have gone for civil unions - the steak, not the sizzle - and given everybody else ten years or so to get used to the idea. Now they have set themselves up for a backlash in the form of "defense of marriage" constitutional amendments.
