Searle, I agree that the future certainly looks bleak not only for the United States and South Africa but the world. However I still have hope that the American people will finally demand of the Congress that new laws be instituted to bring us back from the brink of disaster from the new world policies of this cowboy who runs ramrod over the Congress in the name of patriotism.

The religious people that you refer to are not Christians but are Pharisees in every sense.

"And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness." Luke 11:39

America is being and will continue to be chastised by the hand of God until the true believers come out of their churches and take action against the fornication and wickedness of our people. Otherwise, if what you say is true, we shall be overrun with anarchy. The dark and evil forces will take over and we shall sit in our homes, armed to the teeth in order to protect ourselves. Even that will do no good. You cannot conquer lawlessness unless you have a government to protect you.

As long as we have Senators like Senator Byrd, I still have hope.

James

Searle, <I wonder how you would feel if a million or more deprived teenagers were running around the US with AK47s. Well, that's what is going on in Africa. >

Notwithstanding the possibility that this statement contains some degree of exaggeration, I have no doubt the essence of it is true. You have made other comments regarding life in SA and it is hard for me to imagine how you deal with it. There must be something there that makes it all worth it...or are you just very good at making the best of a bad situation?

John
