<<Well, this is clearly just more leftist dishonesty. You are not accountable to any God worth anything that he would countenance your literal support of the plain murder of an innocent human being. This religion you claim is just empty atheism– and you know it.>>

Well then i guess the Jews are atheists too. From religioustolerance.org:

Abortion-related passages in the Hebrew Scriptures & Talmud:

The Babylonian Talmud Yevamot 69b states that: "the embryo is considered to be mere water until the fortieth day." Afterwards, it is considered subhuman until it is born.

"Rashi, the great 12th century commentator on the Bible and Talmud, states clearly of the fetus 'lav nefesh hu--it is not a person.' The Talmud contains the expression 'ubar yerech imo--the fetus is as the thigh of its mother,' i.e., the fetus is deemed to be part and parcel of the pregnant woman's body." 1 This is grounded in Exodus 21:22. That biblical passage outlines the Mosaic law in a case where a man is responsible for causing a woman's miscarriage, which kills the fetus If the woman survives, then the perpetrator has to pay a fine to the woman's husband. If the woman dies, then the perpetrator is also killed. This indicates that the fetus has value, but does not have the status of a person.

<<When government forces children to parrot the evolution crap they must parrot in the schools>>

Well the Pope concedes the validity of evolution, so you might as well argue that the state promotes Catholicism instead of atheism.

The world went though this once already with Copernicus, Galileo, the Pope and whether or not the Earth revolved around the sun.

Like life on Earth, religion evolves.

This religion you claim is just empty atheism– and you know it.

It is this very kind of attitude that the law and the constitution protect Americans from. In your piety, you claim that my religion is void. And this is the claim of every religion in the world...that the other guys god is an idol. And on this question alone, billions murdered...in the name of God.

When government forces children to parrot the evolution crap they must parrot in the schools, government supports atheism whether you will be honest about it or not.

Evolution is not a forced curriculum. If you disagree with what's being taught at your public school, then you can lobby the school board to add or delete curricula as you see fit. Your beef is with your local school board, not me or the federal government. Maybe you can get them to stop teaching about the scientific method too.

I do think that it is appropriate to include in any discussion of evolution, a discussion that some religions may not agree with the thoughts of Darwin. And that any discussion or teaching should be done with parental permission. There's no reason that your child should be forced to learn about Darwin.

Personally I want my child to know about the scientific method and the theories of Darwin. I doubt that you have even read Darwin. The theory of evolution is just that, a theory. It must stand the test of the scientific method. Some might disagree with the theory. Then they should put the scientific method to work to disprove the theory. I challenge you to do this. Many people do not want to believe in adaptation, or in mutations. That is to your right, to your own detriment. New scientific discoveries in the use of DNA are showing that adaptation is mapped genetically. That the Alaskan king crab and the tiny hermit crab share the same DNA sequencing. It's quite different from other crabs in the same regions. This supports the theories of Darwin and adaptation.

I also believe that sex education in the schools ought to be optional. No one should be forced to learn about sex, reproduction or condom use. When I took health class, parental permission was required. I think that it should still be required. Most people want their kids taught these things, and that makes it appropriate to be offered. If you disagree get involved in your local schools to make these subjects electives.

I think you should run for your local school board. It seems that your beef is with the education being offered in your school.

I believe in separation of church and state. I also believe in the freedom to worship as you choose.
