Edwards ........... a born-again Clinton
LOL!!!!!

Fair enough. :-)

Now Bush has to work to get re-elected.
Yup. It's a race now.

Oh, yes, I withdraw all outstanding bet offers to the demolibs. PT is the only one that took me up, anyway. And I screwed up. I should have specified "against Dean".

Kerry is ultimately a reincarnation of Mike Dukakis as the candidate from the People's Republic of Massachusetts.
LOL!!!!!

Edwards would be a tougher sell. While his trial-lawyer campaign contributions will likely rise up to bite him as the race progresses, he is a canny politician with a captivating manner and a trial lawyer's sense of how to appeal to the voters. If he wins, Bush is in for a fight.
Not so fast. "Trial lawyer" is the equivalent of "pimp", I believe.

Or maybe not.

Latest N. H. poll holds hope for Dean

MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Democrats’ fierce battle for New Hampshire entered its final two days Sunday with the latest MSNBC poll showing one-time front-runner Howard Dean making a strong comeback from his stumble in the Iowa caucuses.

Sen. John Kerry still held double-digit leads in most of the polling data released Sunday, and a seven-point advantage in the three-day figures from the MSNBC/Zogby Reuters Poll, which showed him leading Dean 30-23 in Thursday-Saturday totals, down from 31-22 the previous day.

However, in just the Saturday survey, it was 28 for Kerry to 25 for Dean, a statistical dead heat in the poll’s four-point margin of error. The Friday-only figure was 26-22.

A tracking poll totals three consecutive days of polling, then tosses the first day’s results each time a new day is added. Pollsters say tracking polls show shifts in voter sentiment as they happen.

The figures mean that Kerry’s overall seven-point lead is significantly skewed by the double digit-lead Kerry enjoyed in Thursday polling, done before a key debate in Manchester, N.H., and while Dean’s Iowa concession “screech” was still being replayed and ridiculed over and over on national television.

“Dean had another good polling day, actually bouncing back,” said pollster John Zogby on Sunday. “The race looks as though it is tightening, however, it is Kerry’s to lose at this point.”

GO, DEAN, GO!

Nothing like a repeat of the '72 Children's Crusade.
50-state sweep if Dean gets the nomination.

People seem to feel Bush is slipping in the polls. Huh! He has only taken a pounding for MONTHS now from first 9 then 8 now 7 dwarfs plus most of the National media and REMAINED SILENT. Frankly, He's a better man then I, if I was called EVEN HALF of the names they call him I would COME OUT SWINGING. But, Bush's day will come, I hope that WHEN he comes out, his explosion will make the Iraqi bombing look like a fireworks display. jdn
