Your use of the word "deserve" is odd. Does a pear deserve to be called a plum? I don't believe in throwing away a 6000 year precedent like a dirty cleanex. As soon as the Mass. legislature passes the law calling a same sex relationship a marriage, by definition marriage will be destroyed in Mass. In its place will be something brand new on the face of the planet. No one can predict the consequences of this. Any people that can commit to a revolution on this scale with nothing more than a shrug of the shoulders is a people that has no roots. This is a people primed to be blown over with the next stiff wind.
