Go to download.com. Get Ad-Aware (by Lavasoft) and Spy-Bot (by Kolla). Install both and run their updaters. Then let them scan your system. They'll get rid of most or all of that spy- and adware.

Uninstall Kazaa and download and install Kazaa Lite C++ It is ad free. As with all P2P file sharing (with the possible exception of eDonkey) (searches for specific files identified by a certain number), make sure you scan the files that you download before opening them. Trojan programs can be disguised as songs if you aren't careful. I've been using it for quite a while and have never run into a bad file but it is possible. techtv.com I agree with Dave. Why not give the free Roadrunner stuff a try. It's from Computer Associates and is well respected.
