Bill,
Think we need to figure out a way to separate health care from employment. Health premiums may be one of the biggest impediments to aggressive re-employment of folks, who are now temps/part timers. Of course that brings up the health care issue again and we (this thread and elsewhere) have never come up with real solutions either public or private sector. And budget deficits make this even harder to address in this go-round because we cant give more tax credits or spend big bucks for single payer. But for the next cycle, this needs to be addressed. More important than investment accounts for social security as relates to economy at any rate. mike
