Clinton and Congress should have paid down more of the debt. Much, much more of it. This is what a leader/Congress are suppose to do during the good times. They didn't do this enough. They are in error.

Bush is horrible with the budget. He's even scarier than Reagan was when it comes to deficits. We've got one huge deficit hole now and I would like a leader with the guts to get rid of it.

You can fail to report that the Nasdaq fell more than 70% before Bush took office all day long, but it won't change the fact that the bad aspect of this economy simply isn't the product of Bush's doings.
