"state-of-the-art radio control"

Yes, good point. Very sophisticated communications gear considering the dragnet the Americans have around his location. I read they had him pin-pointed to a very tiny area, and capture was a certainty. Through all this, and being on the run from cave to cave, he is able to maintain communications and command. Amazing indeed. He must be using portable gear. Maybe he's a Ham...like you? The sneaky bugger probably uses a false handle and call sign. AARL or FCC or somebody should be notified. If this kind of abuse isn't stopped, God knows where it could all lead.

The Pots & Pans Brigade Take Madrid Back.....

Re: , I hold the US administration, or someone close to it, responsible for 9-11, or at least complicit. In the circumstances, certainly until my suspicion is disproved, I feel much the same way about 3-11.

After Midnight, Madrid time, I translated a fascinating article about the anti-war resistance coming back alive across Spain.

Message 19914003

I've used the Seneca quote before. And there is an old expression in Latin that ought to be the first question asked by investigators into 3/11, cui bono? "Who Benefits?

Those who hoped that the law & order candidates would prevail must now be reconsidering their strategem. What worked on 9/11, i.e. a blind public rage with little thought as to the implausibility of the "official story", seems not to have been possible to pull of with a more sophisticated citizenry in Spain.

>Suddenly all doubts are forgotten. Debt is liquidated. Transgressions are forgiven. Jobs abound

And, of course, Iraq has become a Western democracy.

canoe.ca

>>>Neo-con promises of "liberation" of Iraq, of joyous, flower-tossing crowds and of rapid "democratization" have turned to dust. Iraq remains a dangerous, volatile mess seething with violence and implacable Shia political demands. Twenty resistance groups now battle U.S. and allied occupation troops. Militant Islamic jihadis are heading for Iraq to fight "Great Satan" America. Yet Bush still claims invading Iraq made America safer.

However, because of Iraq, much of the world now regards America itself as a menacing, unstable threat.

President Bush has stuck his head into a hornet's nest. The U.S. will bleed men, money and reputation for a long time before it figures out how to get out of the first colonial misadventure of the 21st century. <<<
