Hi Iqbal,

Spain is an interesting case.

Re: Appeasement is never rewarding,

I'm wondering if you can tell me who to contact in the Bush PR machine to get the right buzz words? "Appeasement" is one of these excessively regurgitated "team-builder" words that seems to have been uttered by every propaganda organ from the Potomac to, now, Pakistan.

As you must know by now, 90% of the citizens of Spain opposed Aznar's illegal, immoral and irresponsible appeasement of George Bush. What Zapatero is doing is merely correcting the astonishingly arrogant appeasement that Aznar engaged his unwilling nation in.

Talk about appeasers? Tony Blair, for the sake of a slice of the action, appeased the greatest tyrant on the planet. Same thing with Australia's John Howard, cruelly appeasing George Bush, Tyrant, and utterly disregarding the overwhelming desire of the Australian nation to just go surfing.

Yes, appeasement is evil. How can so many world leaders have gotten on their bellies and sought out the hem of George Bush's pants in order to appease the Greatest Tyrant of Our Age?

Hi IQBAL LATIF; Re: "Appeasement is never rewarding ..."

I was talking to a guy here in the United States. He says that Pakistan helped put the Taliban into power in Afghanistan and still can't keep their own cities under power. He says its dangerous for a country like that to control nuclear weapons. He says that instead of waiting for Pakistan to get their act together we ought to just go in there and fix the place up for them like we're fixing up Iraq. He says that making a deal with an unelected military officer like Musharraf is like trying to deal with Stalin or Hitler.

I told him that there were like about 100 million Pakistanis and that a lot of them were crazy Moslems who would give us too much trouble to rule, just like in Iraq only 4x worse. He said that we should just send in the Special Forces to take their nukes, bomb the border areas where the Taliban lives, and starve the rest of the country until the population got under control.

He says anything else is appeasement.

He says that if we don't take care of the Moslem problem now, we'll just have to nuke them later on, so taking over their countries now is a kindness.

P.S. Just thought you ought to know what the conservative lower classes in the United States are saying about your country.
