John Ashcroft is a great man. He isn't getting enough support for the great job he is doing. And I include myself. Too often I've let cheap shots and lies go by. Not anymore.

I thank God he is where he is, doing the job he's doing. The contrast between Bush and Clinton is no greater than in their choices of AG.

Michael Moriarty's run-in with Reno and his subsequent losing of the "Law and Order" DA part was a catalyst for my dislike of her. A minor thing, but if you read his account of the episode, it really smelled. Of course, the whole "Waco" incident would have been much more of a scandal under an "Ashcroft" type of Attorney General.
