Bush has lied to the entire world and has no credibility left. The US will need to go to the UN with different leadership in order for any other country to sign onto the joint ownership of the Iraq fiasco.

The whole world has lost faith in George W. Bush. Any leader of another country would be faced with quite an uprisal if they followed Bush into any endeavor. Bush is finished.

There is a distinction between "cut and run" and reducing the loss in the number of American lives and American taxpayers' money. Kerry and all the Democrats, as I understand, have advocated the reduction in the loss of American lives and money. To them it is of supreme importance. Hence Kerry has advocated that Bush cast his arrogance out the window and go back to the UN so as to involve the other nations. Bush on the other hand has scoffed at the UN, has not allowed the contractors from other countries to rebuild Iraq and treated Iraq as a US colony. Otherwise why would US security personnel be taken into Iraq to protect the employees of the sole contractor Halliburton which is a US company?

Bush had to capitulate finally under threat of losing his WH job in the re election. It is Bush who is "cutting and running" with his policy not the US military physically. It is he who is cutting and running in that he is going from "No, I will not deal with the UN, No I will not let allow contractors from other countries in to rebuild Iraq, No I will hand over power to my hand picked IRC members" to "OK let us see what the UN can do to help us, let us see what plan Brahimi has for handing over power to the Iraqis on June 30" etc. etc.

And this where Bush has recorded himself in the history books as someone who is diverting from what Hitler did 70 years ago.
