" Osama declared war on us in 1998, and never mentioned the Palestinians at all until after 2001 as a kind of afterthought ".........

The LAST time you made this statement, back in the fall of 2001 I believe , I posted a statement issued by Obi One Kanoby <g>that was in direct contradiction to your assertion.

THAT statement was made in 1996 , and clearly made reference to and concerns regarding America's 51st state in the ME and how he would take revenge on America for supporting the entity against the Pals.

We discussed this at length at the time, with folks like yourself saying much the same thing until I produced the document for all to gaze upon.Even then many tried to discredit the document, but it was real, and it was clear, and it flew in the face of the argument that Obi was just pissed because___________________________ : enter excuses here.

Selective memory again Nadine?

Whatever works I guess, eh?

Long live and prosper a Peaceful and Just Nation Called Israel.

I look forward to the day it comes into existence.

PS : The document " should " still be on this thread.

"You think OBL wants the US to be an "honest broker"? "

No of course not Nadine. You must try not to be quite so...how can I say this politely....quite so...opaque.

Osama per se is not a problem. He's old man in a cave. Osama as symbol and inspiration is a problem.

What Osama wants is for that thug Sharon to murder people in wheelchairs, and for that dolt Bush to invade Arab countries. These are the actions that set young Arab men in motion, and have the chance of causing some damage, tho' their danger is to us ( or Spain) is overblown. They can do some harm to invidividuals who might be in the wrong place and the wrong time. On the other hand, they are a real threat to places like Saudi Arabia.

The reason that the U.S. should be an honest broker in the Mideast is because to do so is in the interest of the United States.
