I don't understand why you keep posting this issue.

I agree with both of Kerry's votes. I've posted the text of the amendment that was included when Kerry voted for the bill. The amendment was removed when Kerry voted against the bill.

Bob, AS has a woodie for Kerry, and will argue Kerry's perfection with you all day. The rest of us just mainly want someone who is not Bush, conventional political warts and all. You can legitimately criticize Kerry for many things, but next to Bush the guy seems a giant of competence and integrity. With an incumbent, the election is always ABOUT the incumbent, and this incumbent seems destined to join Jerry Ford, Jimmy Carter and his father on the scrapheap of failed Presidencies. He's tracking these losers exactly. Any decent incumbent would have a large lead at this point and wouldn't even be campaigning now - they'd be doing "Presidential" stuff, not grubbing for votes like his opponent.

There were two different versions of the 87 billion bill. Can you understand? Kerry-Biden's bill was paid for bby the 1% richest Americans and would have given us 20 billion in Iraqi oil back too. Bush's bill was completely unpaid for and offered no accountability whatsoever. Bush's bill passed. Bush's bill was a terrible idea. It was a mistake. It will literally cost you personally about $1000. Kerry would have saved you that dough.

As usual the Bushies took one line out of context to distort what it meant completely. Just another big lie. As usual they also fight for the very rich and the oil companies over taxpayers and consumers.
