You know, I agree totally with you on this. I am sick and tired of Kerry telling outlandish lies and names related to Bush and our President just smiling through it all. Maybe he is waiting for the debates, I dont know, but it would certainly do MY HEART good for Bush to say something like, "I am sick and tired of the outlandish statements Kerry makes, now heres the TRUTH about the man, and LAY IT OUT for America to see. I agree, sodomites will support Kerry NO MATTER what Bush says or does, so I wouldnt even waste my time on them. jdn

I don't know. It takes a long time for economic improvemens to be felt by average Americans, and it's not guaranteed that those improvement will occur in some of the more important regions like the Mid West. Also, the Iraq War has gone from a positive to a negative. It would be hard for President Bush to make it a positive again. Even if it is settled, the public has a bad taste in their mouth regarding Iraq. Especially since the reasons for going to war seem dubious at this point. Ending the war will also put a drag on the economy as soldiers return home looking for work and military spending slows. Bush is in a tight spot just five months from the election. He'll have to use the Republican convention to turn things around. If he can't do it there, he's in real trouble.
