If China wants to slow down their economy, invading Taiwan would accomplish that goal.

Right now things are going great for China; cheap labor brings in hard currency, that is spent on improving their infrastructure. Everyone wins. Invade Taiwan and everyone loses. I think (and hope) it is just a show of force.

I agree with that post and if China acts, I doubt we do much about it other than jawbone.

I think the markets will tank for days if China invades however.

M
