What is the difference between someone who has been immersed in what you believe and someone who has been immersed teachings from the Koran? (sorry about the spelling) Both seem fanatical to me and both seem to believe that everyone should believe and would benifit from those teachings. Can one of them really be more than learned behavior??

I'm in complete agreement and that's why the abuse Gibson was subjected to tends to enrage me. Moore is an admitted rabble-rouser so it doesn't bother me that people on the other side attack him. But Gibson's motive was entirely innocent, plus he risked $40m of his own money, and people were all over him like white on rice.
