I'd agree with that. And unlike orca, I've actually read that piece of trash. There are parts od it I would consider to be clearly in violation of the Constitution. It was an ill considered piece of legislation that never should have been passed.

Another interesting thing about it is that the Congresscritters voted for it WITHOUT THEM OR THEIR AIDES KNOWING WHAT WAS IN IT! They had not received copies at the time they voted. Doesn't it strike people as ODD that a legislature should vote for a piece of legislation sight unseen? Shouldn't that legislator be retired at the next election?

Let me point out that Sen. KERRY voted for it. In fact it passed UNANIMOUSLY in the Senate, with only one LA Senator not voting.

Here's the House. Find your favorite Congresscritters. Odds are they voted for it. There were only 4 Nays and 12 not voting.
