Mephisto, I refuse to live in fear. I think the terrorists on 9/11 got lucky. I do not expect another attack. I am more apprehensive about the state of our economy.

Please do not worry too much because a threat, be it real or imagined, is worse than the execution of the threat!

As for getting the money to fund the war effort for which there will be a day of reckoning, though. That "solution" is to keep on printing more and more cash and to run up a humongous national debt.

By the way, Cheney somehow believes that the debt doesn't matter or is of no consequence. Go figure.......

Mephisto, The liberals are trying to have it both ways yet again with the security issue. They accused Pres Bush of ignoring the terrorists pre-Sept 11, and in past few days they've accused him of using homeland security alerts for political purposes. He's damned if he does & damned if he does not. The information for latest alert was found in England on computer of one of the people they recently arrested. It was very detailed info of particular NYC buildings. If Homeland Security kept that info under wraps, the Liberals would have yelled as well.
