My pleasure. Enlisted at the age of 17. My hat is off to you, sir. My father got drafted right before Pearl Harbor in 1941. He got a week off for Christmas, came home to Chicago and married my mother on December 27, 1941. She followed him to Texas and California (where they had the troops picking crops) before they shipped him overseas.
