Wanted!!

Personal experiences of an out-pouring of the Holy Spirit upon those who have experienced it. What did you personally experience, how long did it last (or is it still happening!?), what happened to diminish the experience over time, do you seek further outpourings....

please relate, intended for personal reference only.

Prior to Mother's Day, I thought to myself that it would be boring to spend eternity being one of the four and twenty elders as mentioned in Revelations which praised God continuously. Then one Sunday morning, I had an experience which changed my view 180 degrees. The experience was one of the most fantastic experiences I have ever had!! The peace and utter joy in giving God praise and thanksgiving continuously was so wonderful!!

Has anything like this happened to anyone else? Please tell me about it (publicly or privately).

Yes - I believe the meaning of the word when spoken is definative.

It is human weakness and sinfulness that causes us to
misunderstand even as we always misunderstand each other.

When people say something - they mean something specific.

Poetry and art are expressions that assert little and
leave to the imagination whatever they may inspire.

The word of God is Doctrine - it is specific - it has definate meaning.

To say otherwise is to deny the authority of God's word
and to obscure meaning even further from the lazy minds of men.

This is not just "my opinion" it is the truth and primary.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.

You can not "rightly divide" what is open to interpretation:

2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy
of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

Not one single verse is up for grabs - there is only 1 right
intent of meaning behind the verse - the rest is false speculation
