The germans were free from foreign domination when hitler was in power. We conquered and occupied them. I guess we probably should have just let them be. And its nice to talk about liberal china of the future. I agree with you there. But in 1967 in the middle of the cultural revolution millions died. But i guess those who died and watched their loved ones die as well were really happy, knowing that they werent foreign dominated and were being slaughtered by their own. Dont make a molehill out of a mountain in order to justify a silly theory.

They are independent. They are not particularly free. The Chinese are also free. More so then they used to be but China is not a free country. Ask the Falungong , or the people getting life in prison for running a porno web site, or the women who have been forced to have abortions, or the people imprisoned for opposing the government. Tim
