Honestly, Bob, I don't use ignore on any site. If I don't value someone's posts generally, I either don't click on their posts or skip over them. Guess I don't feel the need to protect myself from myself <VBG>

Why does the table of "Subjects without New Messages" on the Subject Marks page need a column with the number of new messages?

I've never had more then three to five people on ignore. I think an all or nothing approach is reasonable, but I do like to have a reminder every once in a while (like the view ten - "this message is ignored") to allow me to reconsider.

[Ignore] Just a very simple thing of the person exists in your SI experience or they don't.

Thoughts?

With you all the way.

A simple "on" or "off" for ignore would be fine with me.

<<make Ignore an on/off>>
Agreed. No need to ignore someone halfway.
Much better than cookies. One of the neat things about Mozilla browsers is that I have all cookies expire automatically after 4 (pick your own interval) days.

BTW. I see most of the bitching and moaning about the new site comes from granfathered members. Give 'em a refund and tell them to get lost. You do have a master ignore feature, dont you?<g>

I wanted to start out this thread as a moderated thread and blew it.
