My experience is that Canadian exchange executions even in smaller juniors is often quite good. Pink sheets executions are quite the opposite, so the cheaper commissions often can't make up the difference. I've pretty much just gravitated to the incrasing number of dual listed names, that usually trade on the Amex, or in the case of Ivanhoe on the NASDAQ under symbol HUGO.

I don't think I'm mistaken, since I've phoned up and spoken to one of the brokers about it. I didn't mention that this is an IRA account, perhaps that makes the difference.
