Some Iraqis do see us as invaders/occupiers/conquerors. The fact that we didn't invade to conquer doesn't change this perception.

When "coalition forces" troops are still in Iraq 1 year, 2 years, 3 years or more from now, will more Iraqi's, or less, feel they were conquered?

As for intent ("we didn't invade to conquer") that seems very much in question.
