The MILITARY is supporting Bush. This is the part that I don't understand. It's that blind alliance to the supreme commander bunk. He can make no mistakes... How many men were led into slaughter in battles that were not winnable... and how many white crosses will have to dot the earth to make man see the insanity.

I agree with what you said and feel... completely. Disgust, horror and loathing at the way the entire thing has been handled.

Hail to the chief.

Yes, I agree. Many here also feel utter disgust. The problem
is that so far, we seem to be in the minority. I am hopeful Kerry can bring some sanity to all of this - and work to get us out as soon as possible.

The Brits feel the same. Today the labor party is saying that Tony will lose the entire party if he keeps on the course he is following. As one of Tony's own party said- "what the people want to see is a well defined EXIT strategy..."

Re: I cannot even begin to see any logic to this pointless war -- and I have many European friends who feel the same way. All I feel is a great sense of disgust, horror and fear over the way this whole thing has been handled, and of where all of this is likely to go.

It's likely going to Iran. Regime change in Iran is the Judeoconservatives' next crusade... With the Saudis in Ryadh and the Pahlavis in Tehran, Israel will be safe...
