LOL! You certainly do not understand the way things are here. A busted nose would be a minimal thing and as for fear of Kerry or the Breck Boy neither would be a problem-- both together would be no problem! It would only be looked upon as a lesson in manners.

Mq, it really doesn't matter how "appropriate" Mary Cheney's personal situation was to the topic being debated. It was personal. What many people found distasteful was not Ms. Cheney's sexual orientation but it being dragged into the discussion because the children of candidates are hors de combat. And the Dems response - telling people that they are wrong to object, that they're being hypocritical, that it shows they think homosexuality is shameful, etc. - is not only reading the reaction wrongly, it's also not a winning attitude if they want those people's votes.
