No chemicals, no bug sprays. All natural. If I, who can can suck the chlorophyl from the leaves of a thriving plant by walking by it too closely, could achieve this, then
why are tomatoes so damn expensive??

Good question! Actually, what I've wondered is why canned tomatoes were so expensive when I've shopped in the states. I would have thought they would less than up here, but most that I've seen are at least double (or more) the price.

Okay... enough with the tomatoes. Here you are, back from L.A. and without some kind of an update on the infamous nude scene???

I dream of having a garden like that. And apparently so did one of our local radio newsmen, since he just quit his job and bought a small farm near Roanoke.

I'm wondering if the hurricanes are at the root of the California tomato crisis. Unless our local tomatoes are made out of gasoline.

Henry's market has some on sale for 77 cents a lb, so I'm back in business.

... with friends drinking beer and throwing tomatoes at trees

Sounds like a time of both fauna and flora getting sauced. :)
