<Fed signals December rate hike>

I'm sure the MoP branch of the Fed will strut around like bantam roosters, trying to milk this next rate hike for all it's worth. Will the USD collapse (with associated price spikes) while they fiddle is the question?

FED TEXT - ONLY MINOR DIFFERENCES

[Sorry about the capital letters]

THIS TIME: "OUTPUT APPEARS TO BE GROWING AT A MODERATE PACE DESPITE RISE IN
ENERGY PRICES" VS "OUTPUT GROWTH APPEARS TO HAVE REGAINED SOME TRACTION" LAST

THIS TIME: "LABOUR MARKET CONDITIONS HAVE IMPROVED" VS "LABOUR MKT CONDITIONS
HAVE IMPROVED MODESTLY " LAST TIME

THIS TIME: "INFL AND LONGER TERM INFL EXPECTATIONS REMAIN WELL CONTAINED" VS
"INFL AND INFLATION EXPECTATIONS HAVE EASED IN RECENT MTHS"

SO OVERALL VERY MINOR AND SUBTLE DIFFERENCES...DEC RATE HIKE WILL BE VERY MUCH
DATA DEPENDENT AND "MEASURED PACE" SET TO CONTINUE.
