Too bad we can't nominate uw for something, he is a poster of vigour, if a bit perma-political, at least he makes it zippy ... so thanks, now i follow the links back from here and understand what this was about .... which will no doubt inhibit my heretofore perfectly unencumbered freedom of expression on the matter ... wow, has Feelies ever exploded ... doesn't seem right, it being more popular than TM The Vang question comes down to - Was he shot at, or not? .. eh .. uw is right, one shot is enough, then it's war But on deer - if you were, like me, trying to encourage growth of vegetable matter on a not particularly easy BC hilltop, and those crafty little four-legged eating-machine vermin were doing all they could to destroy your work, you just might, like me, be planning for the best view of the garden from the house, the Throne, a mount for a .50-cal machine gun - Thoreau and Gandhi and Lincoln and Tolstoi be damned, harrumph
