Simple regulations can fix much of the debt game you are talking about. Among other things, barter may be disallowed as would be interest free loans. Barter is really not as simple as it sounds at first. This is why money was invented.

As to the collection at death issue, again, I don't believe you will be able to deffer all or even most of your taxes till death, so it won't be as bad as you think. But I suspect most people will be able to deffer a chunk of their taxes till death. However, since we have people dying every year, we will have steady revenue. Perhaps in every passing year we will be collecting less from the living and more from the dead...not a very bad situation if you ask me <g>
