it's a script that Hollywood would admire....

FDA Grandstanding
Public Citizen gadflying
Plaintiff lawyering

collectively sends an enormous rush of the injured forward, some of which may actually have been injured.

Drug development is about risk/reward, and finding stuff that weighs heavy toward reward. FDA is a class act and always has been, fostering innovation at the same time that it does all that funding will allow to protect our citizens.

Pharma walks the talk and gets through the incredible hurdles that FDA throws out. The entire system works, and it has worked GREAT for years.

One well-conceived medicine gone bad, and we've got a huge clown act, throwing darts to see who hits the most politicos. Thousands who have not seen sufficient padding in Social Security are solicited to be injured. Eight hundred numbers cry out for customers on the airways, "if you died, please call plaintiff's attorney".

Zeta, Is Zantac/Ranitidine considered as protective as prilosec against NSAIDs? It's certainly cheaper.
