Uh oh. I've been making fun of Country Bob because he had himself on Ignore. Have you checked your ignores to see if you did the same?

I'm assuming that the Ignore feature has some bugs.
I decided to try it yesterday and it never did work correctly.
In fact, at one point, my own message showed itself as
an ignored message.

It doesn't have any bugs that I'm aware of, although it's still incomplete, but got a bit more complete today.

What I think happened in your case is that your own message showed up as ignored because it was written to someone you've ignored. Have you checked to see if that's the case?

If you place someone on Ignore, as it currently works, all messages from AND TO them are ignored. We might change the workings of it later, but we're going to try this simplified model out for a while to see how it goes. Especially now that we've made it easy to toggle Ignore on and off, and ignored messages show up as a link you can hit to read the message.
