I see your point, but can we afford to add 2 trillion to the deficit right now in the hopes we may be able to make it up in 50 years? 5 years ago, the answer might have been yes. Not today.

Your argument is so far over the heads of these guys you don't have a chance -- they can simply end the argument with a little namecalling. They haven't the most basic understanding of the subject matter in the first place, as is indicated they deny the existence of any problem.

You can't make rational arguments with irrational people.

I laud you for trying, however....
