>That would be the worst speech ever. So now I think you are devoid of strategic thinking and don't know how to give inspiring speeches.

One of the articles posted last night indicated that Peggy Noonan, who was an extremely prominent speechwriter for Reagan, was very exasperated with Bush's inauguration speech. Does that mean that she's devoid of strategic thinking and doesn't know how to give inspiring speeches?

re: I think you are hopelessly limited.

It's really sad to see what this country has come down to. Those that contribute are maligned, those that benefit puff up their chest as if somehow they can claim credit for the good and not take any blame for the bad.

It wasn't long ago that this country was respected throughout the world. Not now. We are the bad guys. We promote war, we promote torture.

The American era is over, because we've lost moral leadership. China, the EU; they are going to bury us. They own our debt, they own our economy, and they don't presume to export their their culture.

Every empire in history has come to a bad end, it's not a surprise. It's just sad to watch the innocent and the ignorant cling to the dogma. If only they would wake up, we might have a chance.
