"His God is the same God you and I have"

If your God is the same as the neocon's God, then my God is different from yours. Why cannot you admit that? People in this world worship different Gods, just ask the Hindu's, ask the Buddhist, or ask Pat Robertson who worships two Gods.

My God is benevolent, loving, charitable, cares for the poor and unfortunate gave commandments not to kill, steal, lie or covet neighbor's possession. Through His Son he taught us to help the hungry, the naked, the homeless, visit them in jail. All of them are in the bible, old and new books.

Your God (who is the same as neocon's) is different. Why can't you admit that? 1,500 brave US soldiers died, 15,000 soldiers lost their limbs, eyesights, suffer mental illness, 100,000+ Iraqi and counting died as a result of neocon's policy (Richard Perle's and his cohorts). And you are saying that this God is the same as my God?

If my God is as described in the previous paragraph, I will look for a different God. Thank the Lord, He is not.

My God has warned that there will be anti-Christ people claiming for Jesus while in fact doing the opposite of God's teachings. Jesus told us to keep the lamp lit. Is yours? _______________________________________________________________

I am a conservative Republican, and I thought that Patrick Buchanan is really too far right. Compared to these neocons, Pat Buchanan is left of center. We will get back our true party which has been hijacked by neocons.

I don't think George W. Bush is evil. When he lies, I'm sure he believes he's lying for the good of the American people, that is, people like HIM. Being not too bright, and a decent salesman, Bush first convinces himself that he is not lying, to provide himself with the necessary sincerity to put the sale across.

To those not too hard to convince, like yourself, Bush appears as a "genuine" person, an honest, regular guy. Never mind that it's been revealed he's done this and lied to you over and over, you've BOUGHT that he's a regular guy. Since most people don't have any priciples, it doesn't bother them that Bush doesn't either.

He talks freedom and peace, but delivers fear and war. He talks deficit reduction and fiscal discipline, but delivers massive deficits forever and gigantic off-budget spending programs. I think even HE believes the lies that are coming out of his mouth. You buy it - I don't.

I generally try to stay out of debates, because all they usually prove is that two individuals have different points of view, and that the loudest mouth wins. But I'll weigh in here as one who agrees with your position.

Demonizers of human beings with good intentions abound here. Personally i think bush knows he was partially responsible for 9/11 because of a failure to pick up on the warning signs. I think Clinton feels some guilt for that too. Now Bush tries his best to give us a future by defeating the terrorists rather than dealing with them as the europeans would do. Iraq which was initially easier than we thought it would be turned into a bloody mess and only now are positive signs emerging once again. Not many here care about the facts. Most care about the lost election of 2000 and now the lost election of 2004. They care about their assumptions that cloud their judgement more than being right. And then they gather in places like this to exchange propaganda. Hell the founder of this thread produces articles that boggle the imagination. They are dishonest. He should say what he believes and admit that he is a propagandist for folks who care little about our great country. Mike
