I'm sorry it went away. I will treasure the memory of the post that wasn't there.

I just got back from Costco. It's much more expensive when I take the kids along. Next time I'm leaving them home. Plus they won't let me sing to the Phantom music. :-(

I think my favorite is Child of the Wilderness, followed by Phantom of the Opera, and then Think of Me. Gosh I love the music. Do you have the piano music? Is it worth getting? I think I would really feel it was impoverished because I have all that organ music in my mind.

The only time AI got me was when our 205 boy was on there. I think CSI reruns are on here, but I'm tapping my boots to "I'm just an old chunk of coal" and laughing. I have no idea why. A new form of an old insanity? :)

Is there anyone here watching AI but me??

I don't know about anybody, but I'm certainly not. I prefer to spend the time reading for one of my on-line book discussion groups. Current readings include such things as Aristotle's Ethics and Politics, selected lives from Plutarch, Shakespeare's Richard III and Winter's Tale (we're working through the entire Shakespeare canon in one group, including the newly canonized Edward III), the Odyssey, Emma, and the Scarlet Letter. Plus commentary on most of the above.

All of which I consider a better use of my time than watching AI. And, yes, I do know what I'm missing; I watched about 15 minutes of a show once to make sure it wasn't worth watching.

It wasn't.

I'm not but I did see the fake American Idol set here

mtvegas.com

I didn't try to sing, but a young woman who did was very good. The people at the museum asked her if she had tried out for American Idol. She said no that she was Canadian.
